had appointment this morning at Platinum Recruitment - I applied via reed.co.uk for a School Secretary job. They were nice. Said I came across as very professional. They think I am good but that the school will say I'm too inexperienced, which is fair enough - they are submitting my CV, though, and will look out for other work for me. I have had a good two-mile walk this morning, therefore, and bought some books at a charity shop.
I just had a phonecall about another job I applied for online - much scarier, high-powered office admin paying 17k. Got impromptu interview from recruiter over phone, scary, but I must have sounded at least *sane* because she said she'd send my CV to the company.
This professional-sounding thing is really wearing :) How'm I supposed to get a permanent job if I have to have already had one to get one?
