Notes to self: costume

Bladelands is set in a specific time-period and location, unlike Shards which is much more go-as-you-please fantasy. So I need to make new costume (I would anyway) which is appropriate to the setting. This means at least semi-authentic medieval European (specifically French). Yes, Robert is going. He has sorted out his character, I haven't. He's playing a disreputable pseudo-entertainer type with a shady past, and I am playing his farm-girl niece but haven't decided what she's actually going to be like or anything. I'm finding it really hard to draw ideas together :( I have now read the entire pile of documentation from the website and it's giving me really, really minimal inspiration. And I only have about three days to sort it out in :(
