I'd be really chuffed if those of my readers who identify as polyamorous would post here or email me; then I'll do complex things with friends groups and explain. Ta. :)
But would be interested in hearing what you had to say, and can give good advice. Have been in open/poly relationships before and know a bit about it, btw.
Not poly, but not bothered by poly stuff either (not that I'm asking to be put into this particular group, but if you need to create a 'won't preach at me' group in the future...)
tempted, and have fab outfit, but am very tired (given most recent custom-friends post, no prizes) and have a bit of a date to chat online with someone at about midnight, so possibly not...
Insert whatever answer involves me being in all the interesting friends groups that hear things. :) Just put me in all your friends groups or I'll just come round and bully the information out of you. :)
Muppet. You're welcome. I just wanted to get an idea of who might be able to give me advice from the font line as it were. I take it from the high degree of sarcasm there that you do, in fsct, want in? :)
I kind of do, but I'm interested more than actually in a poly relationship (try no relationship) but I'm not on your friends list anyway so I'm just blathering insanely for no patricular purpose *grin*
Hmmm. I suspect you may not really want my advice because it'll probably all be too tied up in Past Issues. :-( On the other hand, if you want to count me in, I'd be happy to try to help. Though I suspect I may be too late now given the speed at which livejournal seems to move!
(Oh, and don't get me started on the whole "identifying as poly" debate. Men are from Dewey Decimal, women are from Bliss. Quack, becoming moo later.)
It was rather tied up in Past Issues, but LJ moves very fast, and the problem is, in some sense, fixed. If you'd like to see both the immnse wibble and the resolution, comment again and I'll pop you on, but I'll warn you there is a two-paragraph exposition of the Past Issues to skim, which you might feel odd about.
Well, I'm glad the problem's fixed, but I must confess I'm kind of curious now! I don't mind seeing the exposition of Past Issues (it either won't tell me anything I don't already know, or it'll tell me things I should have known, in which case I'll be glad to see it) but it's up to you really.
