Pulling an all-nighter, it seems...
The dress is DONE bar the handsewing of the four sets of buttons and loops, which I will do in the CAR. I have SLEEVES but no leggings yet. I might just take in my ordinary trousers a bit, given I want to put a drawstring in them anyway. The sleeves WORKED - I used an old shirtsleeve of Robert's as a pattern! Joy! I had to sodding well ease them in properly, though, which I could've done without.
I am now beginning Robert's new dappled tunic. I have cut out the body and am going to applique patches of lighter and darker fabric on it, then sew sleeves on and do the seams. Then I might paint a flag and some banners. Oh, and put on some laundry.
Sleep is for the WEAK.
