ow, shit. I just jammed my right thumb in the catch of the bedroom window. I have a tiny bruise under my thumbnail and it hurts like buggery. Off out to buy chocolate, and then possibly going to sit and read in bed. I was going to try doing house stuff this afternoon, but even hitting the space bar hurts at the moment, so that may not be an option unless I want to drop things more than is sensible. I've been sewing this morning, and the beaded dragon design on the cheap yellow vest/camisole I bought the other day is really coming along well. I'm worried it's going to screw up when I remove the tracing paper it's sewn over, though, because the fabric is stretchy and hence it could all go Horribly Wrong. We shall see.

Have you tried using waste canvas at all? It's excellent for sewing on odd fabrics - designed for cross stitch but it works just fine for other things, as when you baste it on it holds the fabric in the right place.

Not feeling particularly into RP at the moment, and have a number of reasons not to be at that particular game. So not this time :/
