Oh dear I'm posting a lot today

I'm currently having to use iTunes instead of Amarok for music (Mac OS X rather than Debian for the moment, bah!). Amarok has a nice 'Queue' feature, where you can right-click on a track in the music library and queue it up (it gets labelled with a little number showing where it is in the queue). I don't seem to be able to do this in iTunes - I have to create a playlist or something and drag things to it which is much fiddlier than scrolling and clicking. Any ideas re. other ways to do this?

Does that mean the same thing as "play this track or entire album/playlist after you've finished playing everything else I've queued up"?

Yeah, it's actually the 'On the go' playlist rather than party shuffle. You build it up as you go along, and can clear the list when wanted too.

I think I'd prefer it if it automatically dropped things off the start of the queue at some point after they'd been played; then it wouldn't ever need to be cleared.

Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge my car stereo won't generate the iPod UI event corresponding to "hold down centre button", so I can't even use this advice now I know it :-/
