Weekend report
Here I am, in a fairly tidy living-room, on a raggedy but comfortably arranged sofa, with a laptop and the dregs of a pizza - I feel good.
I have had a lovely weekend in the company of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ixwin, vectorious, kmazzy and, of course, the most marvellous borusa. We spent Saturday evening baking cheese biscuits, banana bread and chocolate cake, and Sunday afternoon eating them; in between we went to a funfair, a convenience store, a hill, and Wrest Park. See borusa for photos of the latter. It was all excellent fun and I feel very relaxed and happy.
Or, I would, if my stomach had not begun to react badly to the pizza. Unladylike expletives go here.
I have become strangely restrained in my commenting. I used to just bung things down and not really think about them, but this evening I keep typing things and then backspacing emphatically and not saying them at all. It's a bit odd. Probably good overall, though.
My father has unexpectedly donated me a Significant Sum; he has also gone away on holiday so I may have trouble thanking him for it in a timely fashion. Will try tomorrow.
